What a pleasure it was to be chosen to capture Tracy and Steve’s wedding! T & S were married at Krause Berry Farms in Langley, BC. If you have never checked out the venue, I highly recommend it if you are in need of an excellent wedding venue location, or simply an afternoon out to explore.

When I arrived, the farm was buzzing with activity – tourists and visitors everywhere you could see. Krause Berry Farms has so much to offer – winery, market, waffles, u-pick berries – I can see why this is such a hot destination for tourists and locals alike.

After a few minutes of walking, I arrived at the reception area. WOW is all I can say. The reception area is tucked away very nicely and it felt as if we had the whole farm to ourselves. The staff at Krause Berry Farms took excellent care of us, ensuring no one would walk into our event or close to it by blocking off certain walkways at the venue. They did such an excellent job!

The ceremony space is set in a beautifully landscaped field, surrounded by berry fields. There is a stone walkway that leads you to the ceremony arch, and stunning wood benches for all your guests. It’s just off the reception space so it’s convenient for your guests to head in and have a cocktail while you’re out with your wedding photographer. Krause Berry Farms Weddings takes care of all the details.

Tracy and Steve have such awesome taste. You could see the care and attention they put into the décor and creating the ultimate experience for their guests. Keeping in line with the theme of the venue, T & S used rustic touches to emphasize the space. Cute signs, chalkboard paint, and a beautiful white & aqua colour scheme captured the early summer wedding beautifully. I could tell the personal touches were important to them. Do you know Tracy even made her own wedding favours for everyone? Homemade jam. I just loved that! Blooms and Beyond were hired to do the florals and chose the most gorgeous arrangements for the space.
