Golden Eagle Golf Club is one of my favourite wedding venues. I get so excited each year when I have the opportunity to photograph a wedding there! It’s tucked right along the mountain side in Pitt Meadows B.C.

Kristy and Graeme tied the knot in August, and landed the perfect day! They had the best weather, and so many wonderful wonderful people in attendance. I’ve know Kristy for many years, we met working at a hardware store together! When she reached out to tell me about her engagement I was so excited to be able to capture her day! Kristy had been dreaming about her wedding day since she was a child, and so many stories of her wedding obsession came up at their reception! Her father told a story about how many wedding movies she’s watched.

Golden Eagle Golf Club Weddings have a super unique ceremony space

One of my favourite features of this venue is their ceremony space. It has a really cute little bridge that leads to the ceremony site. It’s covered so it’s cool, or protected if it rains. It’s railings are all glass so your view of the mountain range is free and clear.

The golf course has some fabulous spots for photographs. Tree’s along the cart path give you shade, and the driveway coming into the golf club is lined with beautiful trees that, especially in the fall create a gorgeous backdrop. Pitt lake is also not too far away and is a great location for pre wedding photos or first looks!

As a Vancouver wedding photographer I have had the opportunity to enjoy many venue food options, and Golden Eagle Golf Club Weddings knocks their menu out of the park! It may be one of my favourites.

In 2019 I had the absolute pleasure of documenting Kristie & Graemes wedding. These two had such an amazing day, I was so lucky to be a part of it, and witness the love between both of them. Check out some images from their day.
